Reality star Jay Gardner has confirmed he is leaving MTV’s Geordie Shore.
Jay has revealed that his exit will be aired later in this series of the show, which is set in Cancun, Mexico over spring break.
He took to Twitter to announce the news: "It's true I'm leaving Geordie Shore this series,
"I've had a mint time and will miss everyone loads. Thanks to all my fans! #adiosjay.
"I can't reveal exactly what happens but all I can say is I go out with a bang! Keep watching on Tuesdays @ 10 to find out the story."
He added: "However I'm excited about my new TV Show!! Stay Tuned."
It’s believed he wanted to leave the show because he’s settling down with his new girlfriend and he’s worried that if he stays it will be too tempting with all the booze and girls.
It’s refreshing if that is the reason he’s left and not becau se he wants to pursue his acting career (ahem Hugo Taylor and Mark Wright). Saying that, the mention of ‘my new show’ makes us a little nervous.
