The husband of the DJ who Harry Styles had an affair with has spoken out against the singer today calling him “spoilt” and “rich”. We’re sure he actually said some slightly nastier things about him too, but the newspapers have decided not to print them.
Lucy Horobin had a two week fling with Harry Styles earlier this year after meeting him at the radio station where she works, however news about the affair only came to light recently.
The 32-year-old (the same as Caroline Flack. We’re just saying.) was apparently having marital problems at the time but after ending the romance with Harry she decided to make a go of it with her hubby Oliver, so told him all about it.
Oliver and Lucy are still together now, but understandably his feelings toward Harry are not exactly warm and fuzzy (we’re guessing he won’t be buying a ticket to a 1D conc ert anytime soon). He’s been telling pals, who presumably then told newspapers:
“Harry is a rat. Since his fling with Lucy has been revealed, he’s been hailed a hero – an innocent lad who just happens to like older women.
“Teenage boys look up to him. Teenage girls want to be with him.”
“To Oliver, Harry is just a spoilt little rich kid who does whatever he wants, when he wants – no matter the consequences.
"Just because Harry is young doesn’t mean he is some innocent victim being hunted down by older women. In Oliver’s eyes, it’s the women who need to be careful. And men need to be on their guard.”
Of course, we sure Lucy was completely innocent in all this – she’s a victim practically. If there’s one small thing we can all laugh at in this whole sordid mess, then it’s Oliver’s reaction to his wife when she told hi m about the fling; apparently he said:
‘Harry Styles? The little scumbag with Caroline Flack?’
Brilliant.
